Aquamarine Victorian Gold Pendant

Aquamarine Victorian Gold Pendant for natural Santa Maria aquamarine by George Postgate

Aquamarine Victorian Gold Pendant, A romantic and beautiful 18K pendant designed especially for an incredibly beautiful aquamarine. As good as these images are, you really would need to see this pendant in person to experience the beauty of the aquamarine and its setting. Openings in the setting allow you to see flashes of aquamarine through them as the pendant moves. All of the surfaces of the setting have been smoothed and rounded so that the piece will be very comfortable to wear. Aquamarine Victorian Gold Pendant, Details:

The Aquamarine Victorian Gold Pendant was first carved in wax and then cast in 18K yellow gold to perfectly fit the 11.95ct Santa Maria aquamarine. George designed the setting so that the stone can be seen through openings in its sides as well as from its front. It is designed so that the stone rests close to the tops of the curls of gold that make it up, four tall prongs to secure it. The result is that you get to see the stone in all of its beauty.

You may order this setting with a stone of your choice instead of the aquamarine. It would be outstanding set with a garnet or amethyst, for example.
