Celtic Diamond Knot Band, This band was hand carved in wax and hand finished in 18K yellow gold by George. He has taken  one of the most loved Celtic designs and turned it into a masterpiece. It is more unique, dimensional, and vital,  than those produced by other means. The band is powerful, beautiful, and Heavy enough to last for generations. I prefer as wide a band as is comfortable to wear. A larger band allows one to better see its details and the reflections of light and colors, dancing upon its polished surfaces. Celtic Diamond Knot Band, Details:

The center knot-work of the Celtic diamond knot band is carved in 18K gold. The interior and borders of the band are of 14D white gold. Five fine, natural, diamonds weighing 0.75 cts total weight, are set into the 18K gold knots. The diamonds are all VS in clarity and G-H in color. Size 12 ½, the band is 10.8mm wide, its edges are rounded to make the band very comfortable. You may not be familiar with the 14D designation for white gold. This quality of gold is made using palladium for its alloy. Palladium is a very rare and precious metal that is more than twice as valuable as platinum. 14D gold has the same amount of gold in it as does 14K. We use Palladium alloys for all of our white gold. This alloy is the standard in most of Europe. Most white gold sold in the US is " standard or bright" white gold which is made primarily of nickle and gold.
