Celtic eternity knot band, our version of one of the most loved traditional Celtic knot designs. This knot pattern is sometimes called the “Turks head” knot. I suspect that that name will go away, plus it just doesn’t sound right to us for describing such a beautiful knot design. Yes it is my favorite, I chose it for my own wedding band. This knot can be found in both modern and ancient Celtic and Viking art. It is beautifully carved in a very pleasing, Celtic knot-work pattern. This knot design is one of the most loved Celtic knot bands. I’ve done my best to insure that this one will be the nicest example that you will ever see. This band was carved by hand. It is much more dimensional than rings produced by most other means. The rounded knots and their slight differences create a flow and rhythm to the design that plays like music. Reflections of light and colors, dance upon the surfaces of the knots beautifully.

Celtic eternity knot band, Details and Variations:

The band was designed and hand carved by George Postgate. All of the surfaces of the band have been carefully carved and rounded for superior comfort. I start with a model from the original, but I still re-carve it by hand. This way each band is an original. I’ve made many versions of this band and it is available in wider and heavier versions. As a custom order, we’ll make it in your choice of 18k, 14k yellow, white, or pink gold.    The outer edges of the band have been reinforced to give the band good strength for a design like this. The interior of the band is raised slightly which makes for greater comfort. A slightly concave interior helps gently lock the ring on the finger. It also allows air to reach the skin which helps to keep it dry and healthy.
