Irish Gimble Claddagh ring Details:
Irish Gimble Claddagh rings are a combination of the Medieval gimble ring and the Irish Claddagh ring. Gimble rings date at least from the Renaissance when they were a way of giving your sweetheart a ring that concealed a love note that was inscribed on a hidden inner ring.
I haven’t made one of these in many years but when I heard a description of a wonderful Irish Gimble Claddagh ring mentioned in a podcast that Suzan was listening to I was compelled to make this one.
We’ve made a few different versions of this romantic little ring. One had a .80ct diamond heart shaped diamond in it. The bands can be made in white, yellow or rose gold. We have also made the rings with rose gold hearts with 18K yellow gold crowns upon them and the hands and arms in 14K yellow gold. The contrast was nice. FaceBook:
We have a wide selection of our work on FaceBook. Some pieces are shown in various stages of completion. When we do a special piece for a customer we often send them image of waxes. This makes it easier for them to understand what we are doing. It also allows us to work together and insure the creation of something special: https://www.facebook.com/Postgate-Fine-Jewelers-111540785537658/photos/?view_public_for=111540785537658
