The Scottish thistles band is a nicely sculpted band of thistles. The thistles are surrounded by their leaves, and stems, and this results in a natural looking garland of thistles that make up the central portion of the band. The sides and inside of the band are nicely rounded to insure comfort and long wear. The openings between the leaves give the skin a chance to breath, adding to the band's comfort. The thistle has a hallowed place in Scottish lore, for it was the thistle and its painful thorns, that made a Dane yell out in pain on a black night as he and his hoard crept up upon the sleeping Scots. His wail of piercing pain alerted the Scots to their danger and saved them from death and defeat. You may order a Scottish thistle band in almost any size.
