Bacchus pendant in silver by Suzan

The Bacchus pendant is one of Suzan’s original designs. She made the god of wine in sterling silver. The Bacchus pendant even has red garnets for eyes, no other color could be more appropriate. Bacchus was the Roman god of agriculture, wine, fertility and merriment. The Romans copied many of the Greek gods and renamed them. Bacchus was originally the Greek god Dionysus.
