Star Sapphire Celticfire Ring, Details:
The sapphire is a medium blue grey stone, weighing approximately 4.49cts. The ring is substantial and smooth inside, and out, so that wearing it is a pleasure. It will not snag on clothing even though it rises above the finger a few mm. The setting is very strong without being too heavy. We can size the ring up or down a size or two if needed for free.
Variations:
We can make the Celtic Fire star sapphire ring in another color or KT of gold. This ring is set with a very hard and durable stone. Sapphires are among the hardest and toughest stones available, but the setting is also perfect for fragile stones like opals. An opal or other less durable stone can be set slightly lower than the surrounding gold-work. This gives such stones a very safe and secure setting that can be worn without fear of damage.

Natural star stones are among our favorite gemstones. Star sapphires and rubies seem alive and magical. I still love watching the star dance upon the surface of a nice stone. We have several stones in stock that range from $100 to about $1500. This stone has been cut with a deep bottom that allows it to touch the finger occasionally. This is a traditional way of cutting these stones. Many people in Asia believe that these stones can channel good energy from the universe into the wearer. This is how I understand it at least.
