This pendant seems like an ancient Celtic or Nordic jewel recovered from an ancient site. The honey colored square domes of amber at its corners really contribute to this look. The beautifully carved wolf’s head at its center completes it. When you hold the piece, its weight and the fullness of the piece’s design are as pleasing as is its appearance. Amber, silver wolf pendant, Details:

The amber silver wolf pendant, designed and hand made by Suzan Postgate. The pendant is about 1 3/8″ X 1 1/2″ wide, and 1/2″ deep. A triangle of twisted silver with three square cut amber gems in its corners form the base of the pendant. A very three dimensional and beautifully sculpted  wolf’s head is the center of the pendant, and its main feature. The wolf’s head is connected to the pendant’s base by Celtic knot-work that encircles the base of its neck. Suzan first carved and built the pendant up out of wax. She then cast the pendant in sterling silver and finished it. Setting the three domed squares of natural honey colored amber gems in its corners finished the piece. all of the work was by hand.
