Celtic black opal rose gold ring size 5 1/2 in 14k by George
A new Celtic ring design By George. The ring is hand made in 14K rose gold. A natural black opal from Lightning Ridge Australia is set in Celtic Knot work. We usually set opals down in settings like this so that they are protected from knocks and bumps. You should be able to wear this ring without worry. The opal is a small but beautiful black opal, that weighs 0.35cts and is 12 X 3mm in size.
These include making the ring in other colors and karats of gold as well as setting the stone of your choice. If you want a faceted stone in this setting we may make the setting a bit higher to keep the pavilion, or bottom of the stone, from touching your finger or getting chipped on a sizing mandrel. Other cabochon cut stones will be set like the opal as seen here. Hard stones will rise above the knot work as will less expensive stones like amethysts etc. Contact us if you would like a special version of the ring. Completion times for special orders are usually less than 6 weeks.
