Thistle and leaf Luckenbooth, Details:

The pendant is 1 5/8” tall X 7/8” wide. It comes with a sterling silver chain that is 18” long. The pendant is made of sterling silver and is an original hand made design by Suzan Postgate. An unusual crown placed above an open elongated heart in the tradition of the Scottish luckenbooth is the basic design. The heart’s interior is almost filled with a very elegant stylized leaf. Seven curving ridges gracefully connect the leaf to the sides of the heart that is its frame. The crown is a tall formal one with curvilinear spirals bracketing a thistle at its top which also serves as the pendant’s bale. The pendant has a nice weight and is very three dimensional.

You can order the thistle and leaf luckenbooth pendant with an oxidized finish or just let this one age. Wiping the pendant once in a while with a soft clean cloth will result in a beautiful patina over time. You may also order the pendant in gold or with a stone set into the crown as a special order. A special order will take less than 6 weeks to send out.
