Trilobite silver amethyst pendant by George

Trilobite silver amethyst pendant, This is a pendant featuring a trilobite fossil set into a silver setting that is finished with an amethyst briolette at its bottom. Trilobites are a group of extinct marine arthropods that first appeared around 521 million years ago, shortly after the beginning of the Cambrian period. Their fossils have always fascinated me. They are beautiful in their own way and remind me of an Egyptian design. I've made rings with trilobites set into them but this is my first pendant using one of the little critters.  If you like jewelry that is made with natural themes please visit our page: https://postgatejewelers.com/product-category/flowers-vines-and-animal-jewelry/

Details, Trilobite silver amethyst pendant:

The symmetry of the trilobite fossil suggested a lavalier style pendant. The Amethyst briolette provided just  the right touch of class to transform this piece into something special. The pendant was carved in wax and cast in sterling silver. The trilobite is a natural fossil and the fine color amethyst is natural. The pendant is about 2" X 1 1/2" in size. an 18" silver chain  is included.
