Celtic Ramsheaded Snakes Ring was influenced by the illuminations Monks created during the middle ages. They created masterworks like the Book of Kells and others. Those monks definitely had a sense of humor. Cats, mice, birds, and other creatures playfully romp about in the colorful illuminations that embellish their designs to delight their readers. One of my favorites is the ram horned snake. The little critters are usually hard at work, twisted into knot designs or forming letters. I’ve given these little snakes the day off from forming knots and letters. These snakes get to enjoy a wriggle around a beautiful natural amethyst cabochon. The million dollar smile on the young ladies face on our testimonials page is a good example of the ring’s effect.

The ring is made of 14K gold with a very nice natural amethyst cabochon as it’s center stone. The ring and snakes are hand carved in 14K and is a size 6 1/2. The snakes are very detailed, their heads and horns help hold the stone in place.
