This necklace is a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. Suzan spent months carving each detail with loving care. Many of Suzan's pieces have secret features that will lure you into spending time exploring them, and this is no exception. I had a hard time keeping from just admiring it as I photographed it. Deer and animal link necklace: Details
The necklace is made in sterling silver. It is features a plaque shaped pendant in a woodland scene. The pendant hangs from six oval links that each have a little forest scene within. A figaro link chain completes the necklace. The necklace is about 22" in length. It can be made adjustable by attaching the clasp to one of the larger links. You need to be careful and check for damage when you do this.
Trees form the frame of the pendant, a buck and doe stand alert, within. Suzan put an amazing amount of detail into the deer, rabbit, nesting bird and cat who also live in her necklace. She has hand carved and detailed everything with patience and love. A buck and doe stand in an opening between trees that make the frame of the pendant. They are beautifully detailed. Four links attached to the pendant hold secrets of their own. I've attached images of the links, but if you give it as a present, let your sweetheart discover them.
