Scottish Thistle Silver Band size 7 3/4 in Sterling silver designed and hand made by Suzan Postgate
Suzan's Scottish Thistle Silver Band is a beautifully detailed open Scottish thistle design band. Suzan designed and made the band in a traditional Scottish style, but with her own artistic original perspective. The band is an open-work design made of slightly formally arranged thistles that are separated by less formal ones. There are even a couple of Celtic triskele knots hiding among them. Details:
Suzan carved the Scottish thistle silver band first in wax by hand. She then cast the ring in Sterling silver and hand finished it. The ring is quite heavy enough to last a life time. The band is 10 mm wide or about 3/8." The borders of the band are rounded for comfort. The band will naturally oxidize over time. If you wipe the ring occasionally with a soft cloth the raised parts of the design will remain bright while recessed ones will darken.

You may order the band in almost any size. It is available in 14 K, 18 K, 22 K and in 14 K rose, white and yellow gold as a special order.
