The tide pool ring was inspired by the tide pools that Suzan and I like to explore along the coast. We love looking into their hidden worlds and at the wonders within them. I’ve made this ring so that people who love exploring tide pools may do so anytime that they please. I made my first tide pool ring in the 70’s. This is the first that I’ve made in quite a while. I’ve have had fun placing sea-life, in this tide pool for the finger for people to find. Details:

I’ve set a few nice natural emeralds plus a ruby and a sapphire in the sea anemones that almost fill the ring’s interior. The stones all have good color and clarity. They are all natural and faceted, ranging in size from approximately 1.7mm to 2mm. The ring was carved in wax and cast in 14K gold. The ring was designed and hand made by George Postgate in 14K yellow gold.
