Woodland vine alexandrite band a band of leaves and vines woven into a band of gold within which is a rare natural faceted alexandrite. I've been working on designs inspired by nature for a very long time and this is a good example of where this journey has taken me. I have done my best to create a design that has the randomness of natural plant growth plus nature's uncanny way of making this randomness beautiful and pleasing. The alexandrite is a very good example with great clarity and a very nice color change when moved from high intensity lighting to lower intensity light like candle or incandescent light.

Woodland vine alexandrite band, details:

This band was first built up in wax and then hand carved in 14k yellow gold. It is also available in other colors and karats of gold as a special order. Other sizes are also available. The alexandrite is a natural stone, approximately 5X4mm in size, with very good clarity and a strong color change.  I've made a man's version of the Woodland vine alexandrite band that is a bit wider as well.
