Art Nouveau opal pendant, Here is my semi black opal pendant finished. This opal is among my all time favorites. It comes from Lightning Ridge Australia, the source of the finest black opals. It has a harlequin pattern of reds, blues, and greens. The amount of red in this stone makes it very desirable, that and the fact that it is just beautiful! The stone weighs 2.62 cts. I've set the stone in a setting inspired by the Art Nouveau designs Suzan and I love.

The pendant is made of 18K yellow gold and measures 26 X 16 mm. It was carved in wax by hand and then hand finished in 18 K gold.  A chain is not included but we can add one in just about any length and many link styles.  The stone is an exceptional example that weighs approximately 2.62 cts. Its colors make this a very desirable stone, with plenty of reds greens and blues that move and flash as it is worn.
