Highland Deer gold Pendant. A Stag and Doe graze among the flowers in a woodland scene of gold.  We have made 4 so far. Each pendant is an original, slightly different in various ways from the others. The changes include gold color and stones, as well as slight changes in the design's details. So far I've set it with diamonds, alexandrites, sapphires. Highland Deer Gold Pendant, Details:

I carved the pendant first in wax, and then cast it in gold. The deer are made of 18K and the woodland frame is made of 14K. This makes a nice contrast between the deer and their surroundings. They appear to almost glow. The pendant is 1 5/8” in height by 1.” wide. Eight small sapphire, four pink and four blue, are set in the flowers that encircle the deer, The sapphires are all approximately 1.5mm in size. Three brilliant cut emeralds are set in the pendants' bottom. They have a combined weight of approximately 0.50cts.. All of the stones are natural.   The emeralds have exceptionally fine color, they are beautiful stones, but they do have some fairly hard to locate, flaws.
